Espresso Sensory and Calibration Workshop (2 days)


Date: 29th & 30th April 2024.

Time: 10 am - 5 pm

Location: Toothless Coffee Roaster, Section 13, Petaling Jaya.

This workshop is intended for baristas who are new to the position (new - 12 months).

1) The modules are focused on helping you acquire a strong foundation in calibration techniques. Upon completion, you can apply the techniques to accurately dial in your grinder.

Calibration requires also, a firm understanding of how to determine the quality of the extraction.

2) Sensory Assessments

To recognise extraction qualities, we depend on our accuracy in tasting espresso. Throughout the workshop, you will be going through tasting activities to assess your current sensitivity to taste and flavours. Then, using the activities to help you recognise the extraction qualities.

If you have been struggling with espresso calibration, attend this workshop. It will save you a lot of time calibrating your grinder, and you don't have to overdose yourself with shots that confuse you.

The workshop seats are limited to 4 persons. We currently have 2 seats taken.
